Day 1 & 2: (Sunday - Monday, 11 - 12 September, 2016) – Enroute
Report to Houston Intercontinental Airport by 8:00 p.m. and proceed to ticketing counter. Depart Houston, TX on our flight to Taipei. Lose one day crossing the International Dateline. |

Day 3: (Tuesday, 13 September, 2016) – Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)
After a short layover in Taipei, we depart for Vietnam. We arrive at Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhut Airport and proceed through immigration, retrieve our bags, and clear customs. As we depart the airport, we will pass by the old Phu Tho Race Track , the U.S. Army's 3rd Field Hospital and head into the center of the city (still called Saigon by most Vietnamese) and proceed to our hotel where you will have the rest of the afternoon free. We enjoy a Welcome Dinner in the evening. |

Day 4: (Wednesday, 14 September, 2016) – Ho Chi Minh City to Pleiku and Kontum
The morning is devoted to touring sites in Ho Chi Minh City, War Remnants Museum, Reunification Hall (the old Presidential Palace) and Norte Dame. After lunch we proceed to Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhut Airport for our flight to Pleiku on Vietnam Airlines Flight 1428 departing at 3:50 PM. On arrival we pass by Artillery Hill and proceed north to our hotel in Kontum. |

Day 5: (Thursday, 15 September, 2016) – Kontum to Qui Nhon
After breakfast we head north out of towards Dak To. First stop is a visit to the Ave Maria 100-year old Rosewood Church and the Vinh Son Montagnard Orphanage. We then continue north to Dak To and the Dak To Airstrip. After the Dak To Airstrip, we backtrack and return to Pleiku, and then travel east on Highway 19 towards Camp Holloway and An Khe. Continuing east we stop where the French Groupment Mobile 100 were caught in a devastating Ambush. Next we continue east to the Mang Yang Pass for a look and see. We continue downhill on our way to the coastal town of Qui Nhon where we will spend the night. |

Day 6: (Friday, 16 September, 2016) – Qui Nhon to Nha Trang
After breakfast we will make brief stops at the Qui Nhon Airbase and Camp Granite. We then continue south along Highway 1 and pass Tuy Hoa Airbase. We also view several Cham ruins (the Cham people ruled what is today's Vietnam from the 5th to the 12th Centuries) and other interesting sites. We arrive in Nha Trang where we will spend the night. |

Day 7: (Saturday, 17 September, 2016) – Nha Trang
Today is a free day in Nha Trang to explore on your own, relax by the pool, or shop. Lunch and Dinner on our own. (There will be a side-trip for those interested to the area where CAPT Harry Cramer was KIA on 10/21/1957. |

Day 8: (Sunday, 18 September, 2016) – Nha Trang to Phan Thiet
After breakfast we head south along Highway 1 passing through Phan Rang, Cam Ranh Bay and if possible, we will stop in Cam Ranh and visit the site of the 22nd Replacement Battalion, the 6th Convalescent Hospital, and the 14th Aerial Port. We continue south and spend the night in Phan Thiet. |

Day 9: (Monday, 19 September, 2016) – Phan Thiet
Today is a free day in Phan Thiet. Rest, Enjoy the pool or beach, or explore with the group. Lunch and dinner on your own. |

Day 10: (Tuesday, 20 September, 2016) – Phan Thiet to Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, we head south along the coastal highway to see the Sand Dunes of Mui Ne, and continue on to La Gi and Phan Thiet (home of 2nd/7th of the 1st Cav and later the HQ of the 3rd/506th Infantry, 101st Abn). We will visit LZ Betty, and the Phan Thiet Air Base. We will then continue south on our way back to Ho Chi Minh City. (Time Permitting we will visit Bien Hoa and Long Bien.) |

Day 11: (Wednesday, 21 September, 2016) – Ho Chi Minh City
This morning we are up early and heading west to Tay Ninh. We will view Nui Ba Den (Black Virgin Mountain) in the distance. Lunch at Ms Tuyiet's , a former VC Soldier in the Tay Ninh - Cu Chi AO. We then visit the Cu Chi Tunnels complex. On our way back to Saigon we will pass close to the Iron Triangle and through the Hobo Woods. |

Day 12: (Thursday, 22 September, 2016) – Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho
Early morning departure heading south on Highway 1 we visit the town of My Tho, in the Mekong Delta. We will take a boat trip on the Mekong River to visit Thoi Son Island, and its local houses, and workshops. We continue south to Can Tho where we spend the night. |

Day 13: (Friday, 23 September, 2016) – Can Tho to Ho Chi Minh City
This morning we board a boat to visit the Cai Rang Floating Market to sample some local fruits and cruise thru the market on the Mekong. From here we continue north and visit some sites around Can Tho as we travel back to Ho Chi Minh City. We spend the night in Ho Chi Minh City. |

Day 14: (Saturday, 24 September, 2016) – Ho Chi Minh City
Today is a free day to explore Saigon on your own or for some last minute shopping. Tonight is our Farewell Dinner. |

Day 15: (Sunday, 25 September, 2016) – Departure
After breakfast, those heading home transfer to Tan Son Nhut Airport for the flight to Taipei. Departing from Taipei, we gain a day enroute to the continental United States by re-crossing the International Dateline, arriving in Houston at approximately 11:05 p.m. this same day. |
