VIETNAM Battlefield Tours is a 501 (c) (3) Non Profit Corporation.
VIETNAM Battlefield Tours was founded by a group of Vietnam Veterans dedicated to providing reasonably priced, quality, and professionally staffed tours to the battlefields of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia for veterans, their family members, historians, educators, active duty military and those interested in visiting the battlefields of Southeast Asia.
Since their combat tours in Vietnam, our guides have been back to Vietnam dozens of times. They know the battlefields. They know the terrain. They know the people. The network they have painstakingly built and their vast experience on-the-ground ensures you the best possible tour. They will be proud to walk beside you to the most important places of your youth. |

Ed Stiteler - President, Treasure and Tour Guide
"Tex" served in the Marine Corps from 1966 to 1968. In Vietnam he served in the 1st MarDiv with India Company, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment from September 1966 to September 1967. His tour started in Chu Lai, transitioned to the DMZ, back to Hills 65 & 37, south to Duc Pho and finally Liberty Bridge. His MOS was 0311 (Infantrymen). Covered a lot of country then and now. |

Bill Stilwagan - Vice President and Tour Guide
Bill served in Vietnam in 1969 along the DMZ with the 12th Marines as a field radio operator. In 1970, he served as door gunner on CH-46's with HMM-364 (Purple Fox Squadron) out of Marble Mountain near Da Nang. Bill is our resident bush guide and has led tours to Vietnam more then 25 times. He is our Logistics Officer and Vice-President of the Non-Profit Corporation. |

Dave Lytle - Exective Vice President and Tour Guide
Dave served in the USMC from 1968 until 1999, with 8 years on active duty, retiring as a Major, and listed MOS; of 0311, 0302, 5801 and 0210. In Vietnam he served in the 1st Mar Div, MP Company, dealing with major police chores, traffic control, POW camps and bridge security throughout the I Corps area. He also visited Chu Lai to see his Air Wing brother. He arrived one week prior to the ammo bunker fire in 1969 and also worked security for the Bob Hope Show at Freedom Hill. |

Bob Burke - Director and Tour Guide
Bob served in the Marine Corps from 1959-1979 retiring as a 1stSgt. In Vietnam he served as a Plt. Cmdr & Plt. Sgt. (0369) with India Company, Battalion Landing Team 3/1 at Cua Viet, Cam Lo, Camp Carroll, LZ Stud and along Rte 9 to Khe Sanh from February-June 1968. From June 1968 to April 1969, Bob operated with India Company and as the Chief Scout for 3/1 in the Da Nang TAOR. |

Dick Wilkerson - Director and Tour Guide
Dick served in the Marine Corps as an enlisted man from 1961-1967. Commissioned in 1969, he retired as a Lt.Col. in 1989. Dick served his entire career in aviation, his first tour of duty in Vietnam was in 1963. Dick has 12 years experience traveling to Vietnam. |

Gene Miller - Director, Webmaster and Tour Guide
Gene served in the Marine Corps from 1966 to 1969. In Vietnam he served in the 3rd MarDiv with Alpha Company, 1st. Amphibious Tractor Battalion from November 1967 to November 1968. His tour was spent in the flat sandy terrain of the northern I-Corps at Cua Viet. His MOS was 2142/0311 (Amphibian Tractor Infantrymen "AmGrunt"). |
