Visit the site of the battle of Dien Bien Phu which took place between March and May 1954.  The strategy and tactics of this epic battle are still taught in war colleges around the world.

Day 1: – Ha Noi to Dien Bien Phu

This morning you are picked up at the hotel, by car and tour guide for your transfer to the airport for you flight to Dien Bien. A/C car and guide pick up and drive to Dien Bien Phu Hotel for check in. After lunch you will visit Dien Bien museum, Hill A1, Hill Independence and the Cemetery.
Meals:  B/L/D          Hotel:  Muong Thanh *** or similar.

Day 2: – Dien Bien Phu

Today you will visit Noong Nhai village/ Him Lam Hill, Pa Khoang Lake and General Giap's Command Post.
Meals:  B/L/D          Hotel:  Muong Thanh *** or similar.

Day 3: – Dien Bien Phu to Ha Noi

This morning you visit De Castries bunker.  Then transfer to airport for flight to Ha Noi.  After check in at the hotel, you will have the afternoon free for exploring in the old quarter in Ha Noi.  Dinner tonight will be at the hotel.

Day 4: – Departure

This morning an A/C car and guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the Noi Bai Airfield for your departure flight home.
